
Teaching Philosophy
The primary objective of Ms. Tseng's studio is to foster a deep appreciation for the musical arts among her students. She is dedicated to mentoring and nurturing students with diverse talents and interests. Regardless of their age or skill level, she adheres to the principle that each student should learn to become their own teacher. Her instruction goes beyond musical interpretation to include the development of problem-solving skills and the adoption of a physically healthy approach to piano playing.
Ms. Tseng places great emphasis on building fundamental skills, which establishes a healthy relationship between the pianist and the instrument. Her teaching also incorporates basic music theory, ear training, and an understanding of various musical styles and historical periods.

Lessons & Approaches
Ms. Tseng is experienced in teaching all levels and ages from age 6 and up. Her lesson length varies from 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 60 minutes depending on the individual's age and needs.
For the students who are looking to learn about Taubman Approach to excelle on their technique, or finding help to recover from injuries, the lessons will be focusing on correct body alignment and proper use of hands to help the students stay healthy as a pianist, and eventually developed advanced piano technique and better sound production.
